Raising puppies in the manner we do is a very time consuming process that's 24 hrs. a day, 7 days a week. This gets more intense after they get older as it requires more cleaning time to keep their area clean and sanitized. They also require more human attention to help develop their social skills. I absolutely love what I do.....but it takes away so much time from my family. Therefore, we are not holding puppies after their release dates. You have 8 weeks advance notice of go home dates to make arrangements on your end. In some cases, waiting till another litter may be better suited based on your timing.
